(Before you ask, yes, I did ask.)
Neo-Name: Ardeshir "Shira" Ostad
(Are-d-sheer - She-rah - Oh-st-ahd)
Level: AL/FD (Forbidden Demonic)
Nickname(s): Shira
Element: Enchantment
Ht: 5'11''
Lb (weight): 190 lbs
Age: Unknown
Gender: M
DORB (date of rebirth): Somewhere in Medieval times, 821.
DOS (date of slaying): About fifty years after that.
Location (where the character was re-born as a demon): Nisapur, Persia (now Iran).
Weapons: Swordbreaker gauntlets, long, slightly-rusty shamshir.
Abilities:
1. Name of Ability: Scheherazade's Kiss
Level of Ability: NL/ML
Element/Type: Enchantment/Mind-Control
Description: Scheherazade's Kiss isn't called vocally like most spells, but Ardeshir can use it when he kisses someone, as implied. The unfortunate victim is his mind-slave for about half an hour. The user is able to see their actions, but is unable to act upon them until the kiss has worn off.
2. Name of Ability: Shahriar's Rage
Level of Ability: NL/ML
Element/Type: Enchantment/Curse/Mind-Control
Description: If Shira wills it, he'll look deep into the eyes of his victim, and cause them to go into an uncontrollable fit of rage for about half an hour, making them blind to their actions, who friends and foe are, causing them to attack everything. People who are under Shahriar's rage do not remember anything after the ability has been used.
3. Name of Ability: Concubine's Charm - "Nobody can resist my spell."
Level of Ability: AL/FD
Element/Type: Enchantment/Curse
Description: When Shira uses concubine's charm, the user is hit with a small, physical spell that resembles a plume of pink smoke. The victim then cannot see straight and feel ill (as though they had been spun around for a good long bit after eating a large meal). This lasts for about five minitues at the most.
4. Name of Ability: Didari
Level of Ability: HL/MY
Element/Type: Enchantment/Curse
Description: Didari (Persian - "Sense of Sight") allows Shira to glimpse into the pasts of weaker demons and humans if he grabs them about the head and says "didari". Very simple spell, dosen't let him see EVERYTHING, but he'll get the gist of it.
5. Name of Ability: Aqrab
Level of Ability: HL/MY
Element/Type: Enchantment/Poison
Description: Aqrab (Persian - "Scorpion") allows Shira to poison any food or drink he touches. The poison is not particularly deadly, but can leave someone in a coma at the worst case scenario.
Strengths: Physical combat, charming/enchanting spells, mercantile, talking in general.
Weaknesses: Elemental magic, beautiful women, morally corrupt, a sex-feind, refuses to fight without weapons or on his own terms, is very biased and hateful toward law-figures.
Attitude: Shira has a rather careless outlook on life. To him, the past is gone and he carries no burdens (yet, they're still a part of who he is). All that matters now is the thrill of the moment, the next heartbeat, the next corner, jump and sensation. It's this mentality that motivates him to do acrobatics like leap from buildings to down cliffs without hesitation. Shira has had thoughtless brushes with death multiple times and scars to show it. He seems to know what the difference between right and wrong is, but dosen't care. Shira is also not in any way humble, and boasts of his own abilities often. This makes him come off as confident and almost charismatic. Lastly, Shira may seem like ego-inflated idiot, but he does have a lot of common sense, and a lot of abilities.
Appearance: Ardeshir usually appears to be a human of average height (5'11'') and of a slightly toned build. His skin is tanned from spending a lot of time in the sun, and he has a quite few scars (he had a long life, you see). When Shira shows his face, which is rather rare, he has rather narrow, almost distinguished facial features with thin, catlike amber eyes and a mouth that's always smiling. His hair is long, wavy, messy, and black. His hair goes down either side of his face into a short, lionlike beard.
Shira's face is hardly ever seen as he wears a turban-like headwrap and a cover over his face, only showing his rather expressive eyes. His regular clothing usually consists of rather plain khaki-style pants, a button-down shirt, and leather kneepads. All of his gear is in earthy, brown/tan tones so he dosen't draw attention to himself unless he wants to. The only acessories that he owns are four gold rings - two in both ears - that isn't dusty and faded.
In life, when he was human, Shira also appeared this way, less scarred.
Shira's multi-headed demon form resembles a monstrous lion with six heads - four in the front, one facing the back of his head, and two on large, thick tails. He also has two extra human-like arms atop of regular quadraped lion legs, making eight limbs in total. The extra arms are situated near Shira's front, above his front legs. They're fully moveable and can grasp things expertly.
Over-all, Shira's about the size of an elephant when he takes on this form.
His Urrgronda resembled a bipedal lion with rather gangly features and had Shira's large, yellow eyes. His Grrusonma form had him back to a more natural, quadraped form, but he had the two extra, human arms to grasp swords and steal things. His Zrrjucha resembled his Grrusonma form, only it was larger and had a large, blunted tail (at this level he was also able to take human form). His Qeeso form enabled him to take a larger size of his last form, but also had the two extra heads on his tails. He only gained all six heads when reaching his final, most powerful form.
History/Biography of Character: Ardeshir was born to poor parents in ancient Persia, where he was raised to be a theif and a cutthroat. His ways would have him executed (from being tossed down a block and having his head cut off) at the old age of 30. He was so morally corrupt he was reborn, as a demon.
As with all Urrgonda, Ardeshir wandered the Arabian world until he was slain by a young hero named Sinbad. Ardeshir was born again, in Grrusonma form, Aredeshir's former, moral-less personality began to shine through - which is what would cause him to be killed by a stronger demon and push him into being a powerful Zrrjucha. He'd go right back into stealing and assassination, only this time he was backed by powerful demonic magics from his element - enchantment. Women and young men fell victim to his charms before he robbed them blind or cut their eyes out.
Ardeshir eventually slashed his age open into being a Qeeso, becoming angry with the modern Arabian world at this time. He turned his murderous eye on politicians, corrupt cops, and young monarchs who didn't know thier place.
After slaying the then current leader of the Unknown Kingdom of demons - revealed to be called 'Amir' - his murderous ways ended upon becoming a headed demon, a Thheum. Then Ardeshir's rage was quelled, as his people then called him "Shira" and aknowledged him as their new demon king. Shira then 'quieted' down his violence, but was unable to keep his corrupt personality leashed. He 'messes' with anything lower than him, whether it be demon or human, for his own amusement. He'll turn lovers on eachother, get people horribly lost, steal very valuble items, and just generally be a nuisance. To most other people, Shira appears to be human. He dosen't let people know he's a demon unless he allows it.
Role in SD: Both and ally and a hinderance. His role is akin to Eris or Loki or Coyote in folkore in that he does things for his own amusement that aren't exactly evil, just annoying. He seems to have a small, aesthetic infatuation with the main character of SD, constantly getting in her way/getting her lost. Shira can be bought-out since he's not megalomaniacle like most Thheum. This is viewed as a weakness, but as he says "If I take over the world, then I'll own everything, and that's not very fun."
